Teachers & Classes

Roberto

Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Roberto has always been passionate about fitness. A soul surfer, a hydrofoil surfer and a yoga enthusiast himself, he developed the method BCT- Brazilian Circuit Training in 2010.

BCT is a group class which focuses on core strength. It’s developed and widely practiced in Brazil, working your upper and lower body, with special focus on your gluten. The training uses weights, ankle weights or a combination of both and runs for 60 minutes. It will enhance your coordination, strength, cardio capacity and provide you with the ultimate full body workout.

Jess Klein

Jess Klein’s passion has been dance and movement for as long as she remembers. She pursued dance and ballet professionally after graduating from Boston’s Conservatory whilst also certifying with the Tracy Anderson Method, training A-list clients and celebrities. In 2013 she came to Bali, completing her yoga certification in vinyasa and yin yoga. Combining her love for dance and yoga, she crafted her own style of teaching, guiding people through movement, helping them tone their physique whilst having an enjoyable workout. She has worked around the world on retreats and teachings, residing in Morocco, The Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, North America and more.

Total Body Tone is a dynamic, low-impact workout that combines elements of classical ballet, yoga and pilates. The movements are designed to access smaller muscle groups to create a toned, feminine shape and lengthen your muscles. Get ready to burn loads of calories, while totally reshaping your arms, legs, glutes and abdominals. Come prepared to sweat.

Noko

Noko has been completely immmersed in the beautiful Brazillian Martial art of Capoeira for more than 20 years. Starting out teaching and promoting it throughout Java, he then explored it further in Brazil with the Eskola Cultural Zungu Capoeira and then moved to Bali to establish the first Capoeira School on the island – Capoeira Bali. As one of the first certified Insturctor in Indonesia, Noko has travelled throughout Asia promoting his art in events and workshops. Well known for his huge smile and friendly patient energy, Noko is a perfect master to teach groups, singles or kids in this amazing martial art.

Originating as a way to disguise fighting and self-defense through dance, Capoeira is an Afro-Brazillian martial art blending elements of combat, acrobatics and dance. It’s paired and executed to the sound of musical instruments, claps and chanting. In this 1,5h session participants focus on 2 main areas- rhythm and movement. The rhythm is based on the sounds of the traditional Afro-Brazilian percussion, guiding the movement practice which improves coordination, flexibility, strength and balance. Noko’s 5 points of contact training method simplifies the practice and makes it accessible to participants from all levels, enjoying and progressing their skills.
