ZIN Canggu, is honoured to be working with Udayana University of Bali, the Faculty of Biology. This recognition is a testament to ZIN’s commitment to sustainable tourism and its efforts to protect the environment and support local communities.

As a result of meetings with the Dean and Udayana Biology team to discuss ZIN’s mangrove riverside restoration efforts, the resort’s Director of Operations has been invited to speak to Udayana University students on the topic of sustainable tourism in Bali. The talk will address the issue of large-scale, uncontrolled tourism developments in certain areas of the island and how future biologists can collaborate with resorts on a private sector level to promote and uphold sustainable tourism.

ZIN also looks forward to a long-term relationship with the university in terms of onsite support from biology students and faculty, with ongoing consultation and support in managing the resort’s grounds and surrounding biodiversity. This partnership is a valuable opportunity for ZIN to receive expertise and support from Bali’s new biologists and for ZIN to share its expertise in sustainable tourism and to help prepare the next generation of environmental stewards.
